Serial numbers are matching throughout with no force-matched components noted, an increasingly desirable feature on refurbished Soviet rifles. The left side of the receiver is import marked. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, showing typical signs of post-war Soviet arsenal refurbishment and long-term storage. Early wartime Tula rifles are often noted for retaining better machining and finish quality compared to later wartime production examples. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
