Please see pictures for further details of this. This SKS has a Russian refurbished stamp on top of the receiver cover.. With that, the receiver cover has been scrubbed , but, we believe faint evidence of aTula mark can be faintly seen. Clearly this is a Russian SKS that has been through their refurb process. This was done to meet export requirements, clandestine aid export, or standard refurb numbers matching process. Which one of these reasons applies for this rifle is unknown. The rifle remains as it did following being refurbished. The stock and bluing are in outstanding condition. The rifling is clean and strong. Please see pictures for details. All used firearms should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing. All items are sold as photographed unless other arrangements are made. Purchasers can request any long gun (up to 48 inches in length) purchase to be shipped in a hard case for an additional $30 fee. Buyer will be responsible for any additional charges above the $50 shipping fee that may occur with hard case shipping.
