"Serial no. B299. Manufactured circa 1922–1923 by Zbrojovka Brno,chambered in 8mm Mauser,29 ½"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are non-matching. The metal has thinned to a smooth grey patina, while factory receiver markings remain sharp and visible. The stock shows expected handling and service wear impressions consistent with military use. The BRNO 98/22 was an export Mauser-pattern rifle produced in Czechoslovakia during the interwar years and saw widespread use throughout Europe, the Middle East, and South America. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
