Bolliger / Mountain Riflery Crown Grade .340 Weatherby Magnum. Based on a Winchester Model 70 CRF action, serial G120773 has a 24-inch barrel (.615-inch muzzle diameter, recessed crown, banded and hooded front sight assembly with brass-beaded blade, flip-up moon bead and stippled ramp, banded sling swivel stud, quarter rib with one fixed and one folding leaf marked 50/250 with gold sighting lines). Features include a rust blue finish, jeweled bolt body and follower, custom bolt handle, checkered bolt knob (five bordered panels), reshaped and checkered bolt release button and custom bottom metal (drop box). STOCK: Formed from a AAA-grade English blank, formalities include an ebony forend tip with widow's peak, fine wrap checkering accented with ribbons/fleurs/heart, palm swell, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, skeleton grip cap, pedestalled toe line stud, leather-wrapped recoil pad and a satin finish. ENGRAVING: Signed by Lisa Tomlin, the plate presents an outstanding gold sable game scene in an oval border. Additional accents include a muzzle band and crown (tang), each in gold. OPTIC: A Swarovski Z6 1.7x10x42 rides in Talley quick release rings (30mm) fitted to custom scalloped bases. The scope is in new condition. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 10.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.9 inches. CAPACITY: Five rounds (four plus one). The extractor “snaps over” rounds dropped into the chamber. Feeding/extraction/ejection are smooth and dependable. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding. Metal and wood finishes are each approximately 98 percent with faint suggestions of handling. AMMUNITION: Sixty rounds of Norma USA Precison (230-grain Oryx SP) is included. No case or papers. The price is firm and layaway is available.
