Bolliger / Mountain Riflery Signature Series .450 Ackley Magnum. Based on a Winchester Model 70 CRF action, serial G287857 has a 23.25-inch barrel (threaded and capped for a brake, .780 muzzle diameter, banded front sight with brass-beaded blade and flip-up moon, banded sling swivel stud, quarter rib with fixed and folding express blades marked 50/250). Features include a rust blue finish, jeweling (extractor, bolt body, follower), custom bolt handle with checkered knob (five bordered panels), reshaped and checkered bolt release bottom and custom drop box bottom metal. STOCK: The AA-grade English is appointed with an ebony forend tip (widow's peak), fine wrap checkering accented by ribbons and fleurs, crossbolt, palm swell, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, steel grip cap, pedestalled toe line stud, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and a satin finish. OPTIC: A Swarovski Z8i 1-8x24 (illiminated dot and circle) is mounted in Talley quick detaching rings fitted to custom Bolliger bases. Electronics operate properly with a test battery. Click value is .35 MOA. Optically sharp. Tube finish is approximately 97 percent. CAPACITY: Six rounds (five plus one). The extractor “snaps over” rounds dropped into the chamber. Feeding/extraction/ejection are extremely smooth and positive. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 10.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.9 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 99 percent. Wood is at least 98 percent with but trace indications of handling. AMMUNITION: One hundred rounds of Extreme Custom Ammunition (20 rounds Nosler 500-grain DG solids, 80 rounds Barnes 450-grain TSX) are included. No case, brake or papers.
