Offered here is an exceptionally desirable Browning Superposed Superlight Grade I 20 gauge over/under shotgun in outstanding as new condition. Built in Belgium and featuring the highly sought-after Superlight configuration, this elegant upland gun combines classic Browning craftsmanship with remarkably light and lively handling characteristics.
This example is chambered for 2 3/4” shells and fitted with 26 1/2” barrels choked Improved Cylinder and Modified, making it ideally suited for upland birds, quail, grouse, woodcock, and fast-flushing sporting applications. Weighing only 5 lbs. 12 ozs., the gun carries and handles exactly as a true Superlight should - fast to the shoulder, responsive, and exceptionally balanced.
The shotgun is configured with a highly attractive English straight grip stock with long tang, one of the most desirable configurations found on Browning Superposed guns. The stock dimensions and light overall weight make this a particularly refined and graceful field gun.
The metal finish remains in beautiful condition with excellent original bluing throughout, while the walnut retains strong original finish with crisp checkering and attractive figure. Overall condition is consistent with an exceptionally well-preserved, near mint Superposed.
