Offered here is an exceptionally hard-to-find Browning Citori Superlight in 20 gauge, built with the highly desirable English straight grip configuration and weighing an incredible 5 lbs. 15 ozs. These Superlight models have become increasingly scarce, especially in this configuration and condition, making this an outstanding upland field gun and collector-grade Browning.
This shotgun features 2 3/4” chambers with 26” barrels, a ventilated rib, single selective trigger, and factory fixed chokes marked Improved Cylinder and Modified — an ideal classic upland combination. The gun carries beautifully in the hands and has the lively handling characteristics that made the Superlight models so respected among serious bird hunters.
The straight English stock with long tang gives the gun elegant traditional lines while also reducing weight and improving handling dynamics in the field. Dimensions include a 14 1/4” length of pull, 2 3/8” drop at heel, 1 1/2” drop at comb, and approximately 1/8” cast off.
Condition of the shotgun remains extremely strong overall, showing very light handling use with excellent wood, clean metal surfaces, and crisp checkering. The factory Browning engraving and gold trigger remain sharp and attractive. Mechanically the gun is excellent.
