Excellent condition! All original and matching numbers, Colt 1911A1 blued military pistol from 1941.
Colt 1911A1 U.S Army Pistol, .45 ACP, factory brush blued finish, made in 1941 pre/during World War II, SN: 739765, with 5" barrel, fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked "PATENTED APR 20,1897, SEPT 9,1902, DEC.19,1905, FEB.14,1911, AUG.19,1913" and “COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG.CO, HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.” Left side of the frame stamped with a boxed "RS" (Robert Sears- inspector) and “P.” The right side of frame marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", "No. 739765" and "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY". Assembler 60 on trigger guard web. Barrel stamped with “”COLT 45 AUTO" and “P” proof mark. Has the correct reddish-brown "Coltrock" checkered grips. Comes with 2 all-blued magazines.
