Offered here is a beautifully preserved Browning Citori Grade V 20 Gauge over/under shotgun, built with the craftsmanship and attention to detail that helped establish the early Japanese-produced Citoris as some of the finest production sporting shotguns of their era. This particular example remains in as new condition and is fitted with highly figured factory walnut that elevates the gun well beyond the average Grade V encountered on today’s market.
Built on a trim and lively 20 gauge frame, this shotgun features 26” barrels with 2 3/4” chambers, fixed IC/MOD chokes, ventilated rib, and a single brass front bead. The gun handles exactly as a proper upland Browning should- quick between the hands, responsive, and exceptionally balanced at just 6 lbs. 10 ozs.
The receiver is extensively factory engraved with detailed game scenes surrounded by flowing foliate scrollwork, all remaining extremely sharp and crisp. The gold trigger contrasts beautifully against the deep polished blue and silver-toned receiver finish. The wood on this gun is truly exceptional, showing strong feather crotch and marble figure throughout both the buttstock and matching forend. Wood to metal fit is excellent throughout.
