This Winchester was produced in 1950. The rifle's serial number is 70055. This Is the rare Sporting Model 22 Long rifle. The bore is in bright minty condition. The sights are original to this Winchester. The front sight hood is also intact. There is no added screw holes or other alterations done to this fine rifle. This rifle is in almost new condition. The original bluing would rate a 100% condition. The stock is also in new condition. the rifle also has the original Winchester sling included. The magazine is a correctly marked Winchester five shot magazine. The trigger housing plate is properly marked Sporting. The bolt shows very little sign of being operated or worked. This is a very stunning rare Winchester! This Winchester 22 belongs in an advanced Winchester Collection. This rifle would be very hard to "Top". All this gun needs is the box!
