here is a very interesting Weatherby Mark V made by J P Sauer in the first year of the Sauer made Weatherbys--Sauer Mark V rifles were first made in 1964 with a serial number starting with P 1000--this rifle's serial number is P 1447, or one of the first 500 rifles made there--the wood finish is unusual in that it is a matte finish as opposed to the high gloss usually found on these rifles--the wood finish is flawless, without any distractions--the bluing is a deep blue/black with no wear except minor wear to the muzzle area--the bolt throw is smoothe as glass and the bolt face indicates minimal use--bore is bright and shiney--chambered in 300 WBY MAG, it is capable of killing pretty much anything that walks--a gorgeous collectable specimen that has survived for 60+ years--view the pics for your own assessment of condition--if you are a collector, don't let this one slip away, if not, don't miss the opportunity to acquire an almost new Weatherby Mark V for less than a new one and retain it's value over time--priced at $2250 and $100 for well packed, insured shipping to your FFL--feel free to contact me with any questions, and thanks for looking
