Offered for sale is an original Saint-Étienne M16 Berthier rifle dated 1916, a classic piece of French military history from the First World War. Manufactured at the renowned Manufacture d’Armes de Saint-Étienne (MAS), this rifle represents the evolution of the Berthier series used extensively by French forces during WWI and beyond.
This rifle retains its historic military character with original markings and period features. The receiver is clearly dated 1916, and the rifle shows honest wear consistent with age and service use.
