The pre-1964 Model 70 is still a sought-after rifle. This one is a nice shooter-grade example made in 1955, according to Winchester's serial number dating chart. It has a bit of finish loss, but no rust or pitting. The wood is in good shape with only minor nicks and scrapes. This is a chance to grab a true, hand-made, classic, American bolt rifle at a reasonable price. No box or case is included.
