Originally introduced in 2002 as the pinnacle of the "Sig Pro" line, it achieved massive international recognition when the French National Police and customs agencies adopted it as their standard duty sidearm under a historic 20-year service contract. The slide is machined from a solid block of stainless steel and treated with Sig's proprietary black Nitron coating for extreme wear and corrosion resistance.
