I'm selling my collection. Here is a Rare Brownie Mossberg 4 barrels/shot Pepperbox. C&R or FFL required. To collectors this a rare one marked ONE: "PAT.APPLD FOR" meaning all the following later production Mossberg Brownie were manufactured and marked after : "PAT, JULY 1920". " Brownie Mossberg 4 shot 22 caliber automatic safety pocket pistol. Protection at a trifling sum" The ad says: "Two & one half inch barrel, genuine black walnut grips. Easily concealed in the palm of your hand. Only 4"1/2 long, weights 10 ounces. $5.00 postpaid anywhere in the US. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.O.F.MOSSBERG & SONS 215 Greene St.New Haven, Conn.". Says the in the 1920's. The truth is these little guns were sold to fishermen, trappers etc... and didn't exactly received the best care. It's rare to find them in such good condition, this one in an excellent working condition has a good bore with sharp rifling, the finish blue rates 75-80% turning plum patina, It also rarely comes with original flat ejector rod. The pictures speak for themselves. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures. Buyer is responsible for knowing all laws pertaining to this transaction. I will ship over night to the 48 contiguous States for $105 insured to your FFL/Dealer or directly to your home if you're a C&R. Please make sure your receiving FFL dealer will accept a shipment from a private collector ( I'm NOT a FFL dealer) which is legal to do so with just a copy of a Driver license. If for some reasons your FFL dealer doesn't accept direct transfer from individual, then the buyer will be responsible to pay an additional flat fee of $100 on the top of the given shipping cost of $ 40 miles around trip and to my FFL and pay a transfer fee. The same additional $100 fee applies to California resident/buyer for transfer unless it's shipped directly to a Collector C&R licensee.
