I'm selling my collection. Here is a French Ordnance Revolver Model 1892, Double & Single Action. FFL/C&R is required. It’s chambered in 8mmx27 (Improperly called Lebel). It was manufactured in St Etienne the Main Arsenal Gov. Factories in 1905, in good shape & working condition, good timing clean chambers, the 4.1/2" barrel with good shinning mirror bore with good sharp rifling. The original factory blue finish rates 65-70%, with tinny spots of pin-pricked surface rust, markings on the barrel are crisp, all others are well defined, the checkered wooden grips are good, all visible on the pictures.The lanyard ring was not purposely removed as it was fashionable after WWI for officer as side arm. This ordnance revolver model 1892 served reliably & successfuly for over 80 years in the french Army, Foreign Légion & Navy, those handguns were so well built and are amazingly accurate. It was still in service in the mid 1950s & 60s in Indochina & the Algerian conflict. The ammunitions showed on one of the pictures are not for sale. The pictures speak for themselves. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures. Buyer is responsible for knowing all laws pertaining to this transaction. I will ship over night to the 48 contiguous States for $105 insured to your FFL/Dealer or directly to your home if you're a C&R. Please make sure your receiving FFL dealer will accept a shipment from a private collector ( I'm NOT a FFL dealer) which is legal to do so with just a copy of a Driver license. If for some reasons your FFL dealer doesn't accept direct transfer from individual, then the buyer will be responsible to pay an additional flat fee of $100 on the top of the given shipping cost of $ 40 miles around trip and to my FFL and pay a transfer fee. The same additional $100 fee applies to California resident/buyer for transfer unless it's shipped directly to a Collector C&R licensee. Item is payable by money order, cashier check or add the usual credit card fee if you pay with credit card. $845 + $105 insured over night shipping to your FFL dealer or to your home if you are a C&R, payable by cashier check, P.M.O or credit card.
