The VIS Mod.35 was Poland’s premier military sidearm and one of the finest service pistols fielded during the Second World War. Following the German occupation of Poland, production continued at the famed Fabryka Broni Radom arsenal under German control, with pistols entering Wehrmacht inventory as the Pistole 35(p). This example represents the highly desirable early occupation three-lever variant, retaining the full complement of original operating controls before later wartime simplifications were introduced. Mechanically, the VIS combined elements of the Browning Hi-Power and Colt 1911 into a rugged and exceptionally well-balanced combat pistol.
