Description:
The Pietta 1873 SA is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 Colt with a six-round capacity. It features a 5-inch barrel and a steel frame finished in a case-colored pattern, paired with a blued barrel, cylinder, and backstrap. The revolver follows the traditional 1873 pattern with fixed sights and a loading gate on the right side of the frame. Smooth wooden grips with a brown finish complement the overall configuration.
This revolver is used. The bore condition is described as good, and the action functions in single-action operation consistent with the original design. The color case-hardening on the frame and hammer provides a distinct contrast to the blued steel components, reflecting the classic construction style of Pietta’s reproduction models.
