This specific ultra-lightweight configuration features a unique quick-disconnect barrel design that allows the rifle to separate into two sub-assemblies in seconds, making it easy to pack into backpacks, vehicles, or the included survival gear bag. The Quick-Disconnect Takedown System is a simple locking lever under the forend is depressed while twisting the barrel assembly 60 degrees.
