This is a Winchester model 1912 Take Down shotgun in 20 gauge in overall good condition manufactured in 1913. The action is very tight and smooth. The barrel is good inside and there is some patina on the outside of the barrel. The receiver has some wear marks on both left and right sides. The trigger is smooth and crisp. The stock and for end are in good condition. The butt plate is in good condition. The guns were known as the \"Perfect Repeater\" when they first came out in 1912. The gun was used by the US Army and Marine Corps. They were used in World War I, World War II, Korean War and the Vietnam War. I you have been looking for a good 1912 Take Down model, take a close look at this gun. This gun is in good mechanical condition and could be used for hunting and home defense.
