"Serial number 111230. Made circa 1917-1918. 45 ACP caliber with a 5.5" barrel. This is a Lend Lease Smith & Wesson Model 1917 made for WWI. These were mainly issued in WWII and this particular gun was loaned to the British government by the various proofing. Approximately 50% of the original finish remails The grips are very good and have been refinished. Very good WWII Lend Lease Smith & Wesson 1917!
