Description:
This rifle is absolutely stunning and a incredible example of a bespoke hunting rifle from a great maker. The detail is impeccable the stock fit and finish, the checkering, the metal finish and polish is all bespoke quality.
The stock is English walnut with a 13 and three-quarter inch length of pull. It features dual schnable forend. It has a shadow wine sheet piece and a steel butt plate with widows, peak and cartridge trap.
It has a steel grip cap and custom bottom metal. The front site has the ivory bead flip up, and the rear site is fully adjustable and custom-made by Mr. Cloward.
The boat release is built up and checkered and the side safety lever is color case hardened. The Bolte handle is checkered. There are two set screws in the fore end that I was told can be used to adjust the barrel harmonics for accuracy. I can't attest to that. I never tried it. However, I always found the Accuracy of the rifle to be good.
There are some handling marks on the wood and metal, but nothing egregious and no cracks or damage of any kind. The bore is mint.
