You are looking at a very rare example of a non-installed John Giles rib complete with extended front sight and windage adjustment wheels. This rib was used on 1911 Colt .45s and 1911 Colt .38 Supers. The pictures accurately portray the high condition of this item. Three pictures of a 70 Series 1911 .38 Super from my collection wearing one of these ribs are shown as a reference.
