"Serial no. 270355f. Manufactured in 1916 at Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R,32"" round import-marked barrel. The bore is dark with strong, visible rifling remaining. Serial numbers are non-matching. Factory markings remain sharp and well defined. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, showing expected handling and usage wear consistent with long military service. The M91 Dragoon rifle was developed as a shorter and handier variant of the standard Model 1891 infantry rifle, intended primarily for mounted troops and specialized units within the Imperial Russian Army. Many Dragoon rifles later served through the Russian Civil War and were eventually updated or incorporated into Soviet arsenals, with the later M91/30 pattern evolving directly from the Dragoon configuration. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
