"Serial no. 69658. Manufactured in 1956 by Ceská zbrojovka,chambered in 7.62x45mm,20 ¾"" round barrel. The bore is good with light frosting noted in the grooves, while rifling remains strong and well defined. The finish is beginning to thin to a grey patina, and the stock shows scattered light surface impressions consistent with military service and storage wear. The Vz. 52 was Czechoslovakia’s early Cold War semi-automatic service rifle and utilized the unique 7.62x45mm cartridge prior to the country’s later adoption of Soviet calibers and weapon systems. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
