Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in 32 WCF caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Barrel retains nearly all of it's original blue. Sights include a ramped beaded blade front and typical sporting rear. Half length magazine holds 6 cartridges. Receiver is a dull gray/brown color. Loading gate is a blue/gray. Hammer and lever are also blue/gray. Crisp action. Walnut forearm is in excellent condition and appears refinished. Straight grip walnut buttstock is also in excellent refinished condition with a ribbed steel shotgun buttplate. Only 24,916 Model 53 rifles were made from 1924-32 and this one was made in 1926.
