Description:
General Specs: Ruger, 1977, .375 H&H Magnum, 8lbs. 5oz. LOP 13 3/4"
Serial Number: 130-42516

Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this Ruger No.1 single-shot rifle. The Ruger No.1, designed in 1966 by Bill Ruger, built using a Farquharson-style hammerless falling-block action, has become arguably the most popular single shot rifle on the market, following thanks in part to the sheer number of calibers offered. 67 different cartridges and counting! The Ruger No.1 since 2014 has been produced only in limited runs, typically as distributor exclusives released from time to time, which has made them quite sought after. This example, serial number 130-42516, manufactured in 1977 by Ruger is chambered to fire the potent .375 Holland & Holland Magnum. The 24” barrel has a perfect 10/10 mirror bore with almost no evidence of being shot. It retains 98%+ factory finish on all parts and features a raised 1/4 rib with a Lyman flip up rear sight and a gold bead. It is fitted with a capped pistol grip stock and Alexander Henry style forend, made from nicely grained American walnut. The rifle does show some field marks, attesting to use for its intended purpose and the memory of a hunt long since forgotten. Included with this No.1 is a full box of VOR-TX brand Safari .375 Holland & Holland Magnum ammo (20 rounds total) which will ship separately and can be shipped directly to your home address, please know your local laws (ammo incurs its own shipping cost, typically around $40 depending on shipping address). This is a great opportunity to add an accurate and reliable Ruger single-shot rifle to your collection. Thanks for looking!
