Chambered in .32 ACP and bearing serial number 119524, this early commercial automatic retains the unmistakable lines that made the Model 1905 one of the most distinctive pocket pistols of the Edwardian era. With its exposed barrel, slab-sided slide, and unmistakably British industrial styling, this is far more than a simple vest-pocket pistol—it's one of the firearms that bridged the gap between the Victorian revolver age and the modern semi-automatic era. The pistol has the right early Webley attitude all over it: exposed round barrel, fixed sights, rear slide serrations, exposed hammer, manual safety lever, and detachable box magazine. The W&S winged bullet trademark is still visible on the slide, with British commercial proofing present, including the “BV” mark at the left rear frame. The finish tells the truth. This pistol carries real age: thinning blue, freckling, oxidation, edge wear, handling marks, and dark patina across the barrel and upper slide. The important markings survived the ride, including the Webley slide legend and serial number 119524 on the rear frame. The black checkered grips with diamond escutcheon panels remain in place, with a visible crack at the upper rear of the right panel. Historically, the Model 1905 is Webley stepping out of the revolver age and into the automatic-pistol fight. This was the era when European gunmakers were still figuring out what the modern sidearm would become and Webley answered with a machine that looked exactly like what it was: British, industrial, compact, and built with purpose. It is a bridge piece from the old empire of service revolvers to the new world of self-loaders. For the collector, this is early British automatic history with grit. It is not pristine, and it does not need to be. It is clearly marked, mechanically distinctive, and loaded with Edwardian-era character. This is old-world steel with honest scars, the kind of piece that earns its place because it survived, speaks clearly, and still carries the unmistakable Webley presence. ***Please see pictures for condition and wear*** SHIPPING INFORMATION: IF THE ITEM YOU PURCHASE IS C&R ELIGIBLE, WE WILL ACCEPT A C&R LICENSE WE TRY TO SHIP FIREARMS THE SAME DAY PAYMENT/FFL IS RECEIVED.
