The H&R 1871 Young America Double Action revolver is chambered in .22 Short and built on a steel frame with a nickel finish. It features a 2-inch octagon barrel and a seven-round cylinder. This compact revolver uses a double-action mechanism and represents H&R’s small-frame design intended for rimfire cartridges. The overall configuration includes a fixed front sight and a fluted cylinder consistent with the model’s production characteristics.
The revolver is used. The bore shows darkening consistent with age and use.
