Description:
Winchester model 1873 .44-40 caliber carbine. Serial #321377, 1889 manufacture. Standard 20" barrel, stamped at breech "44 WCF". Bore has good rifling, it could use a good cleaning. All metal surfaces are a gray age patina. Sights include a carbine blade front and an "1873" marked folding ladder carbine rear. Tang stamped "MODEL 1873". Barrel address is all there. Original saddle ring, dust cover most likely removed during period of use as many were. Action functions correctly. Brass block with "44 CAL.". Walnut stocks are in good condition but does have a few dings from handling. This carbine has that nice old western look and is .100% correct and complete.
