The condition of the stock and excellent bluing coverage of this rifle causes us to believe that this rifle was never issued and never fired upon importation. Every serial number found matches. On the cartouche on this rifle's buttstock, "MA" and "1957" can be read. Bayonet is intact. This rifle's birch stock is in outstanding condition and presents beautifully with zero gouges, scratches, or cracks. Bluing on the rifle is in excellent condition with no bluing loss, scratches, or rust. The bore of this rifle is crisp and strong. Please note: Due to this rifle having a grenade launcher, sales of this rifle are prohibited in California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, or anywhere else that prohibits this.  Please see pictures for details. Purchasers can request any long gun (up to 48 inches in length) purchase to be shipped in a hard case for an additional $30 fee. Buyer will be responsible for any additional charges above the $50 shipping fee that may occur with hard case shipping.
