Description:
The Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall Grade 1 is a single-shot rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. It uses a falling-block action and has a 24.5-inch barrel that transitions from octagonal to round. The rifle features a blued metal finish with a smooth wood straight-grip stock and matching forearm. A factory blued crescent metal butt plate completes the traditional configuration. The rear sight is adjustable, consistent with the Grade 1 pattern produced by Miroku in Japan. Production of this model occurred between 1999 and 2001, with approximately 24,000 rifles manufactured during that period.
This 1885 Low Wall is used and maintains a clean appearance consistent with limited handling. The bore condition is described as excellent. The action type and overall setup reflect the classic falling-block design associated with Winchester’s Low Wall series. The rifle’s blued finish and wood components show the standard factory configuration without noted alteration or modification.
Included with the rifle is the original factory box. The serial number is 0000EF0654, corresponding to the Miroku-manufactured production run. No additional accessories or aftermarket parts are specified beyond the box and the installed sights.
