Very early 1944 Browning Hi Power Inglis Canada model. Starting at 1T1 and ending at 9T9999 this gun's serial number is 1T1763 making it very early production. You will also see it has the FTR 63 stamp which is a Factory Thorough Repair that was refurbished and reconditioned in 1963. This marking indicates that the pistol, originally manufactured in Canada during WWII, went through an official British military arsenal rebuild program (often at the Royal Small Arms Factory in Enfield) where it was inspected, repaired, and updated.
