S&W Model 29-3 Deluxe Elmer Keith Commemorative 44mag.( MFG. 1986 ) "1 of 100" with wood display box. Produced honoring lrgendary outdoorsman, writer, and handgun authority Elmer Keith, whose influence, helped popularize and develop the .44 magnum cartridge. Unlike the standard commemorative configuration, which featured etched side plates and wood grips, this rare deluxe variation was upgraded with smooth "ivory" magna grips adorned with silver S&W medallions and enhanced gold embossed etching over a richly polished blue finsh. Serial numbered EMK0037.
