Remington Model 95 Elliot’s Derringer, Second Variation, chambered in .41 Rimfire. This over-under, double-barreled pistol has 3-inch barrels and a two-shot capacity. It features fixed sights, black checkered grips, and an engraved re-blued finish. Production of this variation occurred between 1911 and 1935, with approximately 27,000 units manufactured during that period. The serial number on this example is L93677, identifying it within the first series using the “L” prefix.
The action functions properly, and the bores show darkening consistent with age and period use. Mechanical configuration remains true to the original design, with the break-open frame and dual firing pins typical of the Model 95 pattern. The finish exhibits the re-blued surface noted above, and engraving is visible across the frame and barrels.
