EXCEPTIONAL ALL ORIGINAL MODEL 1892 WINCHESTER LEVER ACTION RIFLE IN REAL FUN .25-20 CALIBER. 24" OCTAGON BARREL FITTED WITH BUCKHORN REAR & FOLDING IVORY BEAD & POST FRONT SIGHT. NEAR EXCELLENT STRONG BRIGHT BORE. BARREL & MAGAZINE TUBE HAVE MOST OF THE ORIGINAL BLUE WITH A LITTLE SILVERING ON THE SHARP EDGES, BALANCE OF THE METAL, FRAME, LEVER, BUTTPLATE. BOLT, HAMMER & SCREWS HAVE MOST OF THE ORIGINAL BLUE WITH SIMILAR LIGHT SILVERING AND BROWNISH PATINA ON CARRY AREAS. WALNUT BUTTSTOCK & FOREARM ALSO HAVE MOST OF THE ORIGINAL FINISH, MINIMAL HANDLING MARKS SHOWING PROPER WEAR OF A LIGHTLY USED RIFLE.
