Winchester 3rd model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine in 44 wcf caliber [ 44-40 Winchester ] S # 397323B , circa 1890 , 20" round barrel with great and shootable bore , action is tight and cycles perfectly , screw heads are crisp , very pleasing grey patina overall , insignificant pitting , looks like upgrade wood with very light handling marks , overall a remarkable and well cared for Winchester 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine . Sorry but cleaning rods have been lost over the past 136 years .
