Description:
**NICE** 1953 MFG. Model 70 Featherweight chambered in.308 Win. 22" barrel with excellent bore. Original sights with hood. Barrel and action retain 97-98% of original bluing. Bolt knob and bottom metal shows just a bit of finish loss on edges.. The wood is nicely refinished with hand rubbed oil finish. Wood grain is a little unusual with one side being quite different from the other, both in figure and coloration (see last pic). Checkering remains crisp and well defined.
