Description:
Winchester 70 mfg in 1947 . 270 Winchester. 24" barrel. Good Bore. Matching bolt , although number is quite worn but appears correct. This rifle has seen some honest use. Blueing on barrel and action not bad. I'd say 80%. Bottom metal has significant wear and some pitting and nicks on floorplate. The wood I would rate 70% showing a fair number of marks as well as some finish loss. There are no cracks. There is a slight impression from a receiver sight it had at one time.. I believe the rear sight has been replace to the later fold down type. Just a good old model 70 that got used but not abused.. $75.00 Shipping & Insurance to your FFL in lower 47. NO CA Sales.
