This Winchester Model 94 Golden Spike Commemorative chambered in the classic .30-30 Winchester cartridge is a highly collectible lever-action rifle issued in 1969 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the transcontinental railroad's completion. While standard factory production models for this centennial edition feature a 20-inch round barrel, this specific configuration sports a unique, fast-handling 19-inch barrel , providing a distinct custom look without sacrificing its iconic profile. The rifle is in very good to excellent condition , showcasing flawless mechanical operation, a bright bore with crisp rifling, and excellent preservation on its standout gold-plated receiver and barrel bands. The left side of the receiver features a beautifully engraved railroad spike flanked by the historic dates 1869 and 1969 , while the tang is proudly stamped with "Oceans United by Rail." Outfitted with a premium satin-finished American walnut straight stock and a commemorative coin inlaid into the buttstock, this exceptional firearm comes complete with its original factory box to offer maximized value for serious collectors.
