This Benelli Super Black Eagle chambered in 12 Gauge is one of the original inertia-driven magnum autoloaders that set the standard for modern waterfowl shotguns. Manufactured in 1995 and imported into the United States by Heckler & Koch, this example comes from the highly desirable early H&K import era that many Benelli enthusiasts actively seek out.
The 25.5-inch vent rib barrel offers a balanced feel with smooth target acquisition and natural swing, making it ideal for waterfowl blinds, turkey woods, and general field use. The lightweight inertia-driven system reduces fouling and provides a reliable operating system that cycles cleanly even in harsh hunting environments. Combined with the synthetic stock and ventilated recoil pad, the shotgun remains comfortable to shoot even with heavier magnum loads.
Benelli’s inertia-driven semi-automatic action is known for its durability and simplicity. With fewer moving parts than many gas-operated designs, the Super Black Eagle gained its reputation among serious hunters for reliability in mud, snow, and freezing waterfowl conditions.
