Officially adopted as the Geissele MK1 MOD 0 (MRGG-S), this platform delivers the capability of a precision bolt rifle with the speed and adaptability of a modern semi-automatic weapon system. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and built around a compact 16-inch barrel, it excels as a designated marksman rifle, long-range hunting platform, competition rifle, or hard-use precision tactical system.
At the heart of the MRGG MK1 is Geissele's proprietary direct impingement operating system incorporating the patented Phased Array® and Tri-Port™ Gas System. Combined with an in-house manufactured match-grade cold hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel, the rifle delivers exceptional consistency, reduced recoil impulse, and outstanding accuracy. Geissele's proprietary Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group utilizes a Nanoweapon® coating and forged Carpenter 158+ bolt designed to withstand high round counts and demanding operational environments.
