"Serial no. 69956. Manufactured in 1937 at Lithgow Small Arms Factory, chambered in .303 British,25"" round barrel. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are matching except for the magazine. The top of the receiver is marked “FTR," indicating Factory Thorough Repair, a refurbishment program commonly performed on Commonwealth service rifles to extend operational life. The rifle shows expected handling and usage wear consistent with military service.
