Scarce, early post war '06 Super Grade in excellent original condition.
S/N 113676 with matching scribed bolt made in 1949.
These more "common" caliber Supers have become quite scarce, with many having had their components stripped long ago.
This great rifle is completely original having no alterations, no extra drill holes, and very nice original finishes.
The metal rates an honest 98% with the wood not far behind, showing only some scattered minor handling marks so about 97%.
The 24" barrel has an excellent bore as well, along with perfect and crisp mechanical functions throughout.
The action components are correctly UN-jewelled and there are no special underbarrel stamps, as none of these features occurred until 1955.
100% genuine components throughout including deluxe low comb stock with pancake cheekpiece, stamped floorplate, rare Redfield front sight, 22g rear sight, 4 step elevator, hood, correct robust detachable swivels, etc.
A very fine and difficult to find rifle.
