Description:
The Colt Police Positive Special is a double- and single-action revolver chambered in .38 Special. It features a 4-inch barrel with fixed sights and a blued steel frame. The revolver has a six-shot cylinder and was manufactured in 1961. The frame and major components retain the original blued finish, paired with white plastic grips that include a left-side thumb rest design typical of Franzite replacements from the period.
This revolver is used. The bore condition is described as very good, and the left grip shows a crack near the hammer area. The mechanical layout follows the Police Positive Special pattern with exposed hammer and swing-out cylinder. The serial number is 784130, consistent with early 1960s Colt production.
