For sale is a beautiful 1985 Winchester Model 9422 XTR Boy Scout Commemorative rifle, chambered in .22 S/L/LR. This limited-edition piece was produced to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America (1910–1985).

• Caliber: .22 Short, Long, Long Rifle (versatile and economical to shoot)
• Barrel: 20–20.5” round blued barrel marked “WINCHESTER 9422 XTR – .22 S-L-LR / MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. / BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA”
• Receiver: Attractive pewter/coin-style nickel finish with detailed roll-engraving:
• Left side: Ideal Boy Scout statue with scenes of scouts canoeing, hiking, and the 12 Scout Principles
• Right side: Boy Scouts three-finger salute with scenes of camping, cooking over a fire, and the full Scout Oath
• Trigger guard: Engraved scouting knots
• Top tang: “1910–1985”
• Stock & Forend: Checkered semi-deluxe American walnut with XTR-style checkering and an inlaid Boy Scouts of America medallion on the right side of the buttstock
