Description:
This sale offers an absolutely beautiful rose and scroll engraved 28 gauge Spanish side lock double with detachable locks. The gun is marked with the importer’s name, “Armes de Chasse Game Gun, Hertford, NC” and built by Armas Gil, a small custom gunmaking firm in the gunmaking center of Eibar, Spain. The company was known as GYC Armas and produced high quality, handmade side-by-side shotguns built to customer specifications. The gun is equipped with 28” barrels with a swamped rib and are choked extra full and modified. The straight grip European walnut stock and forend are beautifully checkered and show no wear. The case colors on the receiver and blue on the barrels are about excellent. The attention to detail is evident as the interior of the locks are as finely finished as the outside of the gun as can be seen in the pictures. Additional features include trouble free double triggers, ejectors, cocking indicators and bushed firing pins. Weighing just over 6 lbs., it will make a great upland gun. See the specs. below.
