The Glock 19 Gen 5 in 9x19mm with a 4.02-inch barrel represents the most current, refined evolution of Glock's flagship compact pistol. Introduced in 2017, the Generation 5 incorporates over 20 design changes from its Gen 4 predecessor, focusing heavily on mechanical accuracy, ambidextrous handling, and improved ergonomics based on feedback from elite law enforcement agencies. The slide and barrel are coated in a proprietary nDLC (near-Diamond-Like Carbon) finish, which drastically increases scratch and corrosion resistance.
