Really Nice Savage 99 Lever Action Rifle in 300 Caliber.
It has a 24 in barrel which retains most of its bluing and the bore is clean and bright. Equipped with notch adjustable rear sight and post and blade front sight.
The barrel is drilled and tapped for a scope. The gun has the customary rotation magazine with the Round Counter in the oval on the exterior of the receiver. While there is some wear on the gun it is considered to be in great condition. The checkering is crisp and the wood exhibits very little signs of scratching or damage except what would normally be expected from use in the field.
The action and magazine operate smoothly with the cocking indicator pin visible as well as the round counter.
The serial number is 698397 indicating a DOM of 1953
verified by the lever boss letter and number.
The overall length is approximately 45 inches and the gun weighs approximately 8 pounds. Comes with leather sling and posts installed.
