Description:
Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle 32-20 cal Bore VG strong rifling with some fine pitting, Mech VG works well tight action. Has an original 24” oct barrel with full mag, original rear sight and period Lyman front sight, and has VG Winchester address patent dates and 38 cal markings. The receiver has an original dust cover and the top tang has traces of the model 1873 marking. The lower tang has the serial number #213961 Mfg’d 1886. Has original buttplate. The brass carrier has no cal marking but appears excellent. Metal overall has a dark brown patina finish with some fine pitting in areas like the bottom of the lever, serial number area and on the muzzle .
